I was born and raised in Ipswich. As a young adult I tested the waters in the big City and the country, but decided to move back to Ipswich and make it my permanent home.
With quite a few years’ experience in the banking industry, I ventured out to assist with bookkeeping when GST was first introduced in the year 2000. This become my passion and not just a second job. With the many changes that were introduced over the next coming years, I become certified and a registered BAS agent.
I started getting referrals from friends of friend, and clients accountants. It wasn’t long until my sole trader business (Bookkeeping Guru) grew to over 50 regular clients with one part time staff member and made it my full time job.
Over the next 15 years I developed a good working relationship with many local Accountants & Businesses. In 2016, I joined partnership with the
Sammut Bulow accounting firm and
SB Bookkeeping Solutions was formed. 8 years later we trade as SB Books with over 100+ regular clients and 3 full time staff.
